Monday September 30th

Also last night, I met Yeula Mae Fraley, sweet old lady 90 next month, she went out for a small little walk. Wish I would’ve stayed and chatted a little longer but I was running out of daylight. Last night I saw a “lightning bug/firefly” but it flew faster than a normal one and blinked brighter and faster 🤔 got to the island E-town all set up. 9:05 floating. Golconda marker 902.3 at 12:20 Tannys grill 👍🏻 good food. Was talking to my waitress Rhonda, she lives in Elizabeth Town and knows Yuela Mae!!! Back at it 2:20 6:10, found me another island 3 miles from the Smithton lock. Sleeping at marker 915.5

Chris Started his trip Saturday August 10th 2019 He finished Friday November 1st 2019 went 1968 miles ended in Venice.  This is the journey of a life time most people will never experience so that’s the reason why I am sharing his trip so the rest of us can get a little taste of his .  He also told me he hopes to encourage a little bit of adventure in everyone, it doesn’t have to be huge, just something that people have thought about doing. He had so many people say “man I want to do this someday” with this trip and his 4 corner trip Go OUT AND DO IT !! He’s what we all should strive to be.  Relaxed and Free!  He’s just a Retire Navy Vet floating down the rivers, meeting cool people and kicking back and having a blast.
