Monday September 2nd

Slept on this mans shore line last night, he came down to chat and showed me his place and his old underground wine cellars, so cool, thank you for the hospitality and the hot coffee!!
Brian Bross and Tina Bross 9:40 departure, stopped in Augusta Kentucky sweet little town. met some cool people hanging out nuts boats campsite. met Lori Grissom hangin out. Almost made it to the next lock, then was invited over for some beers with Kyle Smithson, Thomas Smyth, Jamie Pettigrew, Andrew Andrew Red Smithson Slept on Kyles Pontoon Boat!! Tom, Kathy Mike Pedone (Kathy Piening) you have already seen a preview of how last night went!!! Amazing!! Had hot coffee, eggs, goetta 🤷🏼‍♂️ not too shabby nice hot shower, now it’s time to float.

Chris Started his trip Saturday August 10th 2019 He finished Friday November 1st 2019 went 1968 miles ended in Venice.  This is the journey of a life time most people will never experience so that’s the reason why I am sharing his trip so the rest of us can get a little taste of his .  He also told me he hopes to encourage a little bit of adventure in everyone, it doesn’t have to be huge, just something that people have thought about doing. He had so many people say “man I want to do this someday” with this trip and his 4 corner trip Go OUT AND DO IT !! He’s what we all should strive to be.  Relaxed and Free!  He’s just a Retire Navy Vet floating down the rivers, meeting cool people and kicking back and having a blast.
