DAY 43 - 44


Saturday September 21st

When I originally thought of this little adventure, I thought oh yea, gonna float down these rivers fast and it will be easy!! 🤣 10:45 start time only made it a few miles, pulled in to French Island Marina.... this is where it’s at, great people, tasty beers, Chip, Ashley, Jennifer, Brian, Audrey. So many great people hanging out and having a good time.



Sunday Sep 22nd 

stayed at French Island Marina all day, super windy all day, my first day not paddling anywhere at all. Hung out chilled drank n smoked with some cool cats all day. Thank you all again for the awesome hospitality food drinks and laughs.

Chris Started his trip Saturday August 10th 2019 He finished Friday November 1st 2019 went 1968 miles ended in Venice.  This is the journey of a life time most people will never experience so that’s the reason why I am sharing his trip so the rest of us can get a little taste of his .  He also told me he hopes to encourage a little bit of adventure in everyone, it doesn’t have to be huge, just something that people have thought about doing. He had so many people say “man I want to do this someday” with this trip and his 4 corner trip Go OUT AND DO IT !! He’s what we all should strive to be.  Relaxed and Free!  He’s just a Retire Navy Vet floating down the rivers, meeting cool people and kicking back and having a blast.
