DAY 49-51

Friday, Sep 27th Day 49 
up at 6:15 9:15 paddle like a SOB, heavy head winds already. 2 hours to go about 3 miles to Old Shawneetown, the winds are supposed to be nasty all day, decided, Nates bar and grill is my spot. Monica, Jim, Debbie. Had a blast. Did take a tour through the old bank.


Sat Sep 28th, 50 days on the river!!
7:35 still buzzin, float time. 🍻🤪 met Donald, out enjoying the day on his pontoon, he said “heard you were headed to New Orleans” apparently I was drinking beers with one of his buddies last night 🤣 marker 867.9 at 11:45. Made it to Cave-In-Rock by 4;45 cute little town. All the painted bicycles are for cancer. Met n hung out had a few beers n shot the shit with Marty and Vicki. Set the tent up almost ran into a skunk, he hissed and ran, I got scared and jumped back. Did not want to get sprayed.


 Sunday Sep 29th Day 51
Had a delicious omelet and biscuits n gravy and some hot coffee. Marty made a call, hooked up a shower for me, winds picked up a little. Went back to Rosies a late lunch, double cheeseburger and fries. 3:00 floating. 5:30 E-town. To use wifi, and I apparently had to go to a bar and have beers to let you all know 🤣🍺
