DAY 63 - 64


Friday October 11th
Day 63, # 8 of the Mississippi.

 Woke up to some wicked winds and rain kicking through, blowing my tent so hard the poles and tent were hugging me, gotta admit felt kinda nice 🤣. Coffee n bailing out the yak, drying everything as much as possible, packing up and floating at 9:45 marker 663.5 at 4:15. Met some cool cats, hangin out here for a little bit.




Saturday October 12th
Day 64 #9 of the Mississippi. 
King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena Arkansas. Awesome times great people. Was invited to a wedding for two beautiful people!!! Congratulations Tracy, Doug, met, Trey, Lara, Wesley, Kelly, Mike, Heather, many more!!!

Hello Welcome To My Blog I want to share my friend Chris Henderson 1,888 miles Kayak Trip From Roscoe PA To New Orleans He’s Paddling Monongahela - Ohio & Mississippi River. Chris Started his trip Saturday August 10th 2019 He finished Friday November 1st 2019 went 1968 miles ended in Venice.  This is the journey of a life time most people will never experience so that’s the reason why I am sharing his trip so the rest of us can get a little taste of his .  He also told me he hopes to encourage a little bit of adventure in everyone, it doesn’t have to be huge, just something that people have thought about doing. He had so many people say “man I want to do this someday” with this trip and his 4 corner trip Go OUT AND DO IT !! He’s what we all should strive to be.  Relaxed and Free!  He’s just a Retire Navy Vet floating down the rivers, meeting cool people and kicking back and having a blast.
